Tahoe Lakeshore Lodge & Spa

The style of the room was great. Although a little dated the mountainy feel was excellent and the view of the lake from the room was wonderful.

Location location location makes this a great place to stay. Being on the beautiful beach at Lake Tahoe was wonderful...beautiful views out our window...and all rooms have this view. Liked the gas fireplace flickering & heating the room. Good location to start multiple hikes and activities around the lake too. This was clean & very comfortable. Nice pool & hot tub as well.

The USP of property is private beach.. I liked it overall.. only part I was but disappointed with.. I couldn't completely turn off heater.. I felt so hot in night.. I had to open windows.. night temp was around 35 F

The staff and the location are great. The mattress, however, was sunk on one side. The other side was OK. It is an old hotel so a change of carpets would help too.

I really enjoyed this hotel! This was a solo trip but I plan to bring my kids next summer and stay here again. I could walk out of my patio to the beach, which was my favorite part. The beds were more firm but that’s my preference so it worked good for me but other travels may need a softer bed. The kitchenette is nice to have. I didn’t get in the pool but I did hit the hot tub a couple of times and that was very relaxing! The chemicals were off one night and it bleached out my swimsuit but I reported it to the staff and she notified maintenance right away. It was the perfect location for walking to dining and even as a solo (female) traveler I never felt unsafe.

Staff is very kind! Beautiful room with a beautiful lake front view!
