Clarion Suites Vidalia Riverfront

The staff was extraordinary!! I can not say enough good things about all of the staff the we encountered!! The building could use some updates but the staff makes up for those issues.

Everything but breakfast was great. Breakfast was almost a disaster :/

Hi, I stayed at the Clarion Suite Choice Hotel in Vidalia, LA, on September 18-19,24. This hotel needs to undergo inspections because once I entered the room, the smell greeted me at the door. It smells like an old mildew carpet and hidden mold. looked inside another room, the same smell. I want a refund back. I booked this room on expedia. Used my cash points of $53, and the other went on my cc. the smell gave me a headache, so we had to leave the room for hours with no other hotels available for that date. I also found a red stain on the top layer of the covers. nice staff, but this place needs to be shut down, and mandated inspections need to be done. Went to the front desk to address my concerns. No one ever showed up.

Hotel is in a fabulous location but has deteriorated over the last few years. I’ve stayed here many times, probably my last till some improvements are made

The morning staff was great, the night staff not so much. Pool was not working correctly, neither was the blow dryer in the room.

The hotel was probably really nice in it's time but it needed some updating. The room was very muggy and humid when I arrived so I turned the AC on cold and left to get something to eat. When I came back it was not any better. When I took my shoes off the carpet felt very damp on my feet. The clothes I left on a chair over night were also very damp. I'm very surprised there was not a mold issue. Definitely not worth the 140.00 I spent on the room. With some updating this would be a great place to stay. The view off the back of the hotel was amazing.

The property had broken tiles in the entry way. My room had mold on the chair.The floor was damp, air conditioner did not have a dehumidifier. After second day clothes on hanger were damp Air conditioner on second floor hall so loud some people changed rooms. My wife was going to complained to the owner but saw where the property was for sale so no one really cares. So sad everything is outdated but I bet it was beautiful at one time. Disappointing for such a nice view
