Hampton Inn & Suites Los Alamos

Pretty good overall. Good location for exploring. Staff weren’t the friendliest but not terrible either

Everyone was really nice and our room was excellent. The only draw back was the ac didnt work so we had a portable one that was loud, but it was still ok.

Bedding was fantastic

Breakfast was cold, and Sub-Par. Fridge in room did not work, but was unable to hang in room waiting on maintenance. No cart / wheelchair access to parking lot out the back door.

Hotel is ok considering there’s hardly any competition. Pros: -A relatively short drive to Bandelier, the lab and other Los Alamos spots. -A couple of restaurants in walking distance as well as a grocery store. -Room is a good size. Cons: -Room is kind of dark/window is small and the outside of the window was dirty during my stay -Breakfast is mediocre for this type of free breakfast. Very few healthy options: Yogurt was all sweetened, oatmeal there but not so great, no cereal with fiber (just special K and fruit loops, most places at least have raisin bran). -No good outdoor space to sit and relax.

This is the best Hampton Inn I have ever stayed at. The difference is the staff. They are kind, professional and helpful. No fewer than 3 staff members offered assistance to me in my 12 hour stay. Everyone was smiling and kind. It was a pleasure to be a guest.
