Wild Dunes Resort - Sweetgrass Inn and Boardwalk Inn

We booked this resort because it had all sorts of options listed for things to do

A lot of the options we sought out were closed or unavailable so therefore useless. Most things closed at 10 pm or didn’t open until 11:00. People had to bring breakfast in from off site. Asked about room service and that wasn’t even an option! They only have valet parking but are very understaffed so the 2 man parking crew were literally running to get cars and people were waiting 15 minutes just to get their cars. Also there was a black tie event being held one night so it made valet parking and getting to the one bar that was open a nightmare.

Beautiful and clean resort with easy access to the beach, pools, and shops. The food was amazing and the service was impeccable. I highly recommend this place for families.

We were booked into an ADA room, which we did not request (I suspect Expedia is mostly to blame for that). The bedsheet was torn when we arrived, and we had to ask to have the room cleaned. The resort itself was very nice, but if we return, will definitely book directly with the hotel, not through Expedia.

Great place for families. Walking to beach was easy. Staff is very accommodating. Love having multiple dining options, bars and shopping all on site.

We had a great time at the hotel. Front deck were great especially Boipelo has a great attitude and wonderful personality with lots of smiles. My wife and I were so impressed by her. Thanks for everything.

One of the best places I’ve stayed. Definitely recommend. Beach is beautiful. There are many pools to choose from, food was good, massage was great. I enjoyed not having to drive anywhere. Staff was extremely nice.

Upon check in to the main property at Sweetgrass, I was told I was staying at the older/original property at the Boardwalk which was a distance with luggage. The property was fine but the service was limited and the dining options closed early. The staff was not very friendly. Overall, a bit disappointing for the high price. Totally enjoyed IOP however.
