The Maverick Motel, Main Street USA Collection by PNW Hospitality

The price was excellent, the staff was very helpful and courteous, the room was clean and convenient for our dog, a nice evening walk took us across the river to the high school where a concert was in progress. As we walked by the auditorium a quartet of boys came out on the porch and treated us to a marvelous little doo-wop rehearsal. On our walk we saw a bakery called Basin Levin which we patronized the next morning and found it to be even more special than we had thought it would be. All this in walking distance of motel. Brew pub next door to motel looked good too, but we weren't hungry by ten. Also, we discovered when we got home that we'd left a power bank plugged in to the wall. Not only did they have the device (which hasn't always been the case when I've left something at a hotel), they were very obliging in returning it to us in a box we shipped with return label.

We had quite a bit of trouble with the TV, but the owner/manager was very responsive when we decided to call "uncle". As he fixed the problem he explained why this happens (not by us but by previous tenants) and left us with a different remote for the night, which worked great.

Staff is friendly, hotel is clean. We were able to book at the last minute and check in very late at night.

Location is not the best area of town. Appeared to have some homeless people hanging around. Not enough parking due to hotel being full (lots of big trucks/appeared to have large group of workers staying there). Previously, we have stayed here and had plenty of parking so this was just a particularly busy night.

I appreciated how clean it was and how courteous and helpful the staff were. They didn't even rush our morning. Overall this is the most affordable and clean hotel in Klamath Falls.
