The Maverick Motel, Main Street USA Collection by PNW Hospitality

This motel was great for a quick stay and only a few blocks from the train station.

The ice machine didn't work.

Clean room.

90% of the tv channels were scrabble. Even very basic common ones. The bed comforter was also ripped.

The staff was wonderful and the value was good. Facilities worn but clean.

As a last minute booking for somebody traveling through town not checking in until late evening, whose only need is a bed and shower, it will do. If you're looking for the Hyatt Regency or even a Best Western quality, you will be very disappointed. If you are a single female or a family with children and have safety concerns, you might want to reconsider. But if you're simply looking for a budget hotel with few accomodations to rest your head for 8 hours, and aren't intimidated by a little riff-raff, and perhaps have a trained dog like my German Shepherd to alert you, you'll do just fine. The hotel was clean, the manager was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, there was ample parking, and the location was great. While I personally wouldn't stay there again, I also wouldn't suggest others avoid it either. Just be aware that you get what you pay for and you won't be disappointed. 😁

An ice machine or freezer that worked would have been nice.

It was a good location. The beds were comfortable. Lighting was decent. The lotion, soap, etc., had a pleasant, unobtrusive scent.

It would have been nice to have a coffee maker!

Location is ideal as I wanted to be within walking distance of shops restaurants etc a quiet part of downtown The management were friendly professional and welcoming

All my expectations were met
