Grecotel Filoxenia

The pool was nice even though we did not go in it. I loved the beach cabana. The hotel was clean and had nice trees and lights at night.

It seemed outdated and not updated like the GRECOTEL we stayed at in Crete. The tv advertisements on the GRECOTEL channel showed a way different view/hotel then what we saw. We also didn’t appreciate when we sat down to eat. We were told that we had to go to another side and make reservations when no one informed us that we had to make reservations so we didn’t end up staying at the hotel as they could not accommodate any of our requests. We also waited an hour at the beach for a Fanta orange drink and when it came, it was orange juice which costed €9. I told him I ordered a Fanta and he told me he would go get - that happened 45 minutes later and it was time to go we were charged for both for one Coca-Cola one Fanta and one orange juice. It was €23.

Excellent breakfast with a wide variety of options - fantastic coffee. Fantastic pool Spacious room, with a very comfortable mattress. Highly professional staff, all were hardworking, polite and soft spoken.

Die Unterkunft hat eine tolle Lage etwas ausserhalb aber direkt am Meer. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und nett. Das Frühstück war auch gut. Wäre gerne noch etwas geblieben.

Ich hätte gerne einen richtigen Schrank gehabt und irgendeine Schublade. So lag alles offen rum, schade! Sonst nichts zu bemängeln.

Whether at the reception, in restaurants, at the pools, or throughout the resort, the team consistently greeted us with a smile and made us feel welcome. Their attention to detail and willingness to assist at any moment played a major role in making our stay so enjoyable and memorable.

he availability of sunbeds around the pools during peak hours. At times it was difficult to find available loungers, which is understandable given the occupancy levels, but perhaps something that could be looked into.

Lovely low rise building with beautiful views of the sea, pretty lush gardens, lovely breakfast and dinner.area views!

The gym isn’t great

Everything! It was fantastic and we will be back. The breakfast, the pools, the location and the overall confort were amazing. The private beach is a major plus over other hotels in Kalamata. The staff was super nice, especially the young man waitering around the pool

Nothing to note. One minor inconvenience was that the TV did not work (except for watching videos of the hotel)
