Farol Hotel

All was good EXCEPT WE RESERVED A PREMIUM ROOM WHICH IT WAS! EXCEPT the noise, I think from the kitchen was disturbing. Most especially late at night and into early morning

Fantastic location! Couldn’t get any closer to the sea. Lovely staff at check in & upgraded our room due to my IPrefer status. Great & interesting art dotted throughout & a 5 minute walk into town & next door to a fabulous new upscale marina with lots of dining & shopping choices.

Dining options were ok.

Great location and comfortable room. Could use some more power plugs but otherwise great!

Location was great. Staff were very helpful, attentive and friendly. Wasn’t busy. Availability of pool and sun beds. It was a boutique hotel.

Building In need of maintenance. Music at the bar too loud. Coffee and tea making provision in rooms inadequate. The rooms should have kettles with more supplies including milk. No iron in room for ironing. The rooms are very expensive so one would expect more exclusivity to warrant 5 stars. We had a Deluxe double room with a balcony. I would have expected a bigger room with space to sit.

Was an impulse booking to enlongate our honeymoon as we really didn’t want to go home Hotel was beautiful, setting was incredible & the staff couldn’t have more helpful 😊

The staff were very nice and helpful. The viewing from the breakfast dining was amazing!

We had our wedding at the stunning Farol Hotel and from start to finish, the entire experience was flawless. Our wedding planner, Maria, was amazing, she guided us through every decision, making the planning process as stress free as possible. The venue itself is beautiful and far exceeded our expectations. We had our ceremony overlooking the sea and our reception in a private area which were both decorated beautifully. A special shout-out to the catering team. The food was spectacular, from the canapés during the cocktail hour to the main wedding meal. We received so many compliments from our guests, and everything was served efficiently and with a smile. We cannot thank enough the wedding planner, the hotel & staff and the photographer for giving us the perfect day.

They were spray painting stains in the carpets in the hallways and stairs during our stairs. It looked worse after they painted it. The railings around the pool were rusting and the concrete area was cracked and looked old.

Located in a prime setting this extended house offers an outdoor saltwater pool, outdoor bar and some seating (indoor bar looked nice but closed?). Our room was lower floor, quite small and good bed, a chair, a desk, mini bar (€€€s), good wardrobe, safe etc. Great shower in a small black tiled themed bathroom that needs a detailed tidy up. Barbara was lovely, super helpful, engaging and good at the job. Thanks to her. The evening restaurant staff, dinner quality and wine outstanding. I asked to see the chef post dinner to offer thanks for an outstanding and fab meal. The walls are filled with art and objects de art all of which are for sale, quirky and contemporary interior... see pics. Overall nice experience but at almost 400+ euros a night B and B will research further. Best wishes and thanks.

Loved the hotel and where it’s situated. Only did B&B and it was excellent.
