Paradise Links Resort Port Douglas

It was very quiet, set amongst greenery, overlooking a pool. Internet was great to have. When my friend arrived instead of having 2 single rooms we were upgraded to a 2 bed apartment which had a full kitchen and lounge. There were also TVs in the bedrooms. It was very nice and much better value and bigger than a single room. The pools in the main pool area, were not as warm as the single pool up by the tennis courts.

The bikes for hire at the resort were well used and were not functioning as they should, although bike hire for a day was cheaper than elsewhere. A few things needed maintenance.

We stayed in one of the Villas and it was magnificent. They catered for all cooking and things required to have a homely stay.

The smaller apartment rooms are a little ran down. The only negative I’d mention is that as it backs onto the golf course you can get woken up at 6-7am with the mowers keeping the grounds maintained most mornings.

The gutter from upstairs had a leak that dripped onto the roof below that made a noise all night that drove me crazy

Apartment was clean and tidy. The family thoroughly enjoyed the pools and tennis court. Staff was really friendly and helpful.

Tech could use a revamp. Wifi wasn't great and would routinely disconnect, while TVs are pretty old and screens were small.

The pools were fantastic our unit was spacious and well equipped. The bed was comfortable. The grounds cared for. The resort was some distance from town but this was not a concern for us.
