Paradise Links Resort Port Douglas

Very spacious and quiet apartment, ideal for a short stay. Excellent kitchen equipment and having a washing machine and dried was so useful. Lovely surroundings.

Decor a bit dated.

We love coming to Paradise Links and are return visitors. We stayed in Apartment 51 which is on the ground floor overlooking the main pool area. The complex has beautiful tropical rainforest trees and all the activities you can think of for a family on holidays (they even have on hand basketballs, tennis rackets, soccer balls just ask at reception). The apartment had everything we need for our week stay and fit out is to a high clean standard. You need to remember it is self contained you don’t get a clean/service during your visit but there is laundry facilities within the apartment. If you want these service lots of other (not so budget friendly) options around. Our apartment even had an air-fryer which helps with quick snacks to keep the kids going between meals. So much to do in Port Douglas and surrounds this accomodation is budget friendly so you can spend more on the activities and amazing Restaurants in the area plus have the option to make meals in the apartment. We love the floor boards and tiles throughout as we are an allergy family. The management team are very accomodating with any issues you have during your stay just speak to reception. The beds are comfortable and can be configured for singles if need and has an option for a sofa bed. This is perfect for families. We had a car but there are options for a shuttle. The local IGA is walking distance from the resort. The golf course is close and offers some food options. Highly recommend for your stay in Port Douglas.

Mowing the lawn early morning just a few meters away from our room (at a resort style accommodation!) and did not stop even upon request.

Non existent reception during regular check-in time (15:00-17:00). Had to fight to let us check in on time. Less parking spots than accommodation units.

Excellent location, walking distance to beach, friendly neighbourhood at the resort,plenty of choice of pools to use. The room had great aircon, good lighting, plenty of space in the studio, desk, fridge, chair, tv, outdoor furniture, closet space, bedsize.. Shower over Bath was perfect.. Make-up lighting, plenty of space... Towelling for the pool plus bathroom.. Overall, it's really worth staying here. Only unpleasantries: Unclear, why the reception ask for my personal card details when everything is paid via booking.com and online. plus, smoke smells coming through from next door neighbours above and hovering in the ceiling.
