Onion Homestay

The room itself was clean and generally well maintained when we arrived. Basic amenities were in place and the space was comfortable enough for a short stay.

Our overall experience wasn’t great. The hot water was inconsistent during our stay, which made showering a bit inconvenient. The bicycles provided by the property were also quite old and not very well maintained. We asked in advance if an early check in at 12:30 PM (instead of 2 PM) would be possible after a long journey. The response we received was to cancel the booking if the timing did not suit us. A simple yes or no would have been fine; the response felt unnecessarily rude. On the day of departure, we checked out at 10 AM and asked if we could briefly use one of the bicycles until 2 PM to explore Hoi An, especially as several bicycles were unused. They refused even though we stayed with them for 2 nights. The room also has a large balcony, but the view is quite bad. Another building’s window faces directly toward the balcony, so we kept it closed most of the time and did not end up using the space. All in all some interactions felt noticeably less welcoming than what we observed with other guests, which made us uncomfortable.

וואו איזה חדר מושלם! היה לנו כלכך כיף בonion. החדר היה נקי ויפה, עם מים חמים, המיטה הכי נוחה שהייתה לנו בכל הטיול. כל יום החליפו לנו מגבות ופחים ומים. הארוחת בוקר הייתה מצוינת וטעימה באמת הרגשנו בבית. וכמובן האדיבות והנחמדות של בעל המקום הפכו את הכל ליותר טוב, הוא כל הזמן התעניין בנו ושאל אותנו מה אנחנו עושים ושמח לתת המלצות. ודאג שתהיה לנו שהות טובה בחדר.

הבעלים פשוט נחמדים ברמות ודואגים לכם ברמה האישית !! ישנתי שם חמישה ימים ונהנתי ברמות יש טלויזיה עם נטפליקס ויוטיוב, כל בעיה שהייתה לי בחדר ישר סידרו ומנקים את החדר כל יום , מיקון מצויין ומרכזי 5-10 דקות מהכל ארוחת בוקר ממש טעימה ומגוונת נהנתנ ממש מכל השהות תודה למארחים המושלמים !!

Very basic apartment, need to walk stairs to 3rd floor, everything are very basic.

Good choices for breakfast, always fresh fruit, yogurt, bread, tea & coffee with their other choices. Enjoyed the omelettes. The owners were very friendly & helpful. Bed very comfortable, bathroom was clean.

The owners are very nice; they made us feel welcomed. It is on a busy street but very well situated, max 15 minutes walk to the river / lantern boats. Lots of restaurants, coffee shop and boutique within walking distance. The breakfast was really good with a few different choices.
