This is a hotel with, as far as I am concerned, pros and cons. The pros are the staff, who are very hospitable and helpful. The breakfast is of very good quality. The hotel is located just outside Vietri sul Mar and there is a bus stop right outside the door with frequent buses to Salerno. The hotel is furnished with attention to detail in a classic style, and features multiple terraces.

The hotel is very noisy. You can understand the guests in adjacent rooms and hear them using the bathrooms. Rolling suitcases make a loud sound due to the beautifully tiled hallways. There was an unpleasant smell in my room that did not go away by airing it out. Finally, I find it a missed opportunity that, despite a notice about this in the bathroom, all towels that have been neatly hung up after use are still replaced.

Good location to Vietri. Nice view from balcony and breakfast/ bar areas. (Apart from the rubbish/ ruins/ rusty steelwork)

The staff The most miserable and uninterested bunch I’ve had the misfortune to come across with the exception of the house maid . No interaction with guests as I could see. I speak fluent Italian and some local dialect and basically rude comments were overheard which if I was on the receiving end would have replied in firm and effective terms. The hotel is a little tired and needs an overdue makeover as do the staff. The bedroom I had 377 overlooked the bay but below are unfinished buildings and generally rubbish and rubble. This could be a great hotel but sadly Not. The breakfast is only adequate not what is expected from a 4 ⭐ hotel. Go book somewhere else. If you have already booked I hope you have a better experience and I mean that .

I booked a Junior suit room with Spa for my fiancee birthday but unfortunately there was a technical problem with Sauna and we couldn’t use for 2 days…so why i paid this money for this room? and wasn’t very clean,;A/C was very old which in in bathroom and didn’t work!
