Wadi Rum Bedouin Camp

I reckon this is the best located camp in Wadi Rum, the rooms are great (we had one of each). Chose luxury for the stars in the evening and standard for the morning. The staff are really friendly and helpful organising trips etc. Food is great as well. Would go again in a heartbeat.

Mohammad and Hassan were great hosts and were very helpful in making sure we enjoyed our stay in their camp, including helping us arrange a full day jeep tour. Hajes was the perfect tour guide for that trip - showing us all the must-see places in the desert, explaining the back stories and and giving us insight into Bedouin culture. Hajes even prepared a full, delicious lunch in the middle of the desert. That was one of the most spectacular settings for a lunch ever.

The WiFi is a bit spotty, but that's not a big issue. One of the allures of being in the desert is to be disconnected.

We had a great stay at Wadi Rum Bedouin Camp. Amenities: Our room had every luxury that you would need - hot water, aircon, a comfortable bed and pillows. Location: The camp has an incredible view that, from our rides around the desert, beats the view from other camps. We enjoyed the view from the verandah in front of our tent, the general tent, and climbed the rocks behind the camp as well for an amazing sunset. Activities: We took a 3-hour tour and sunrise tour with the camp, and enjoyed both very much. We highly recommend waking up for the sunrise, whether you take a tour or just enjoy it from the camp. Other than that, we enjoyed dinner, some fireside chat with the other visitors and one of the brothers of the family that owns the camp, the stars, and the general peace and quiet of the desert. Management: We arranged our tours when we arrived and faced no issues, despite the family attending a wedding that same night. Every family member (shout-out to Hassan, Ali and Abdullah) we met was kind, professional and eager to share about their lives. In summary, definitely stay in this camp if you’re looking to disconnect from the noise of the city, and connect with locals who genuinely want to share about their love for the desert.

Simply perfect!! The location and the view of this endless desert, the breathtaking sunset and sunrise. And once night has fallen, look up and admire the stars shining in the sky of incredible purity. The staff also are incredibly kind. Special mention to Hassan, his brother Ali and to Hassan the Egyptian who made the delicious cooking Highly recommended!!

Hasan and Ali run such a special camp. The room was so comfortable and the views were amazing. Our toddler loved playing in the sand as we watched sunset! It was such a special location. The communal areas were comfortable and welcoming and the dinner was delicious

Wadi Rum Bedouin Camp, in my opinion has managed to perfect the crucial balance of blending warm local hospitality, excellent lodgings/location and fabulous local cuisine into a uniquely authentic Bedouin experience. Don’t waste your money on seemingly better value propositions; this is the only place to stay in Wadi Rum. A special shout out to Ali and his brother Mohammed who treat you like family.
