"Awful experience because we couldn't get into the property"

Despite informing the hosts when we would arrive (and received confirmation that this was all right), there was no one there to meet us nor were we given any information on how to get into the property. We called all the phone numbers that we could find related to the property, but no one could help us. Messages to the property were left unanswered (to this day, two weeks later!). We had to find alternative accommodation for the whole Christmas week which meant the first two days were ruined.
