Pure Land Guest House

Clean room, comfy bed with silk sheets, high ceilings, large tv & a small present which was real nice.

It's a bit old and quirky but all the above overweights it.

This is a lovely place to stay. The hostel is Buddhist, and the rooms are lovely furnished to reflect that.

There was a kitchen where one can make themself some breakfast Arrived back after a hard day concentration and found the common room comfortable to sit and have a hot chocolate

Really wonderful atmosphere. Super clean and the price was really good. I especially appreciate the complimentary Buddhist book on the bedside table :)

It was a big room with a very comfortable bed. Location was handy to most things. It was really quiet as well.

They included breakfast and had basic cereal and bread options but we found milk in the fridge that was well past it's use by date and bread in the fridge that was open and was stale (okay for toast).

It was well positioned in a lovely street and it was spacious and cool, with high ceilings. We had every thing we needed and we were comfortable. At night, the silence was golden - could not believe we were in the heart of the city, because it was so very quiet. We could park very close to our room and a simple self-serve breakfast of cereals and toast was provided.

I liked everything but it was a bit different. Instead of Gideons bibles, we had lovely little Buddhist books to read. Many of the rooms had shared bathrooms but ours was ensuite. The wifi and the TV were great. The staff were helpful and courteous and this stay was very good value for money. I asked for a top sheet and that was no problem.
