Piano Monaco

I had to book this place very last minute because of a traveling snafu that happened in Palermo. I originally selected this hotel because the listing claimed it was 2.something miles/km from the Palermo airport. Come to find out, it is actually between 6 or 7 so be aware of that. The staff were nice and helpful and I believe they spoke enough English for a party who doesn’t speak any Italian to navigate a stay there. (I did my best to communicate in Italian and filled in the blanks with English.) They had a restaurant and pool on site. Food was decent and stayed open pretty late which was helpful. The room was very basic, but clean. The air conditioning was traditionally Italian meaning it wasn’t very strong so be prepared for that. Beds and pillows were not that comfortable but worked for our one night stay. The room came with a little kitchenette which was helpful. The soap/shampoo weren’t the greatest quality but I was grateful to have them there as I needed them. The staff were also helpful in that they scheduled a taxi for us and the driver was the nicest driver we had for the entire trip.

Large clean modern room which fit a family of 4 well and was nicely cooled with air con. Friendly staff. This is modern swimming centre with a popular pizzeria and a few hotel rooms. Located in Carini which is a 10min drive to Palermo (PMO) airport. Nice big pool and delicious well-priced pizza.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour au sein de l'établissement Piano Monaco, avec un personnel très sympathique et serviable, toutefois nous avons 2 remarques à formuler : - les chambres sont très mal insonorisées, surtout lorsque vous cohabitez avec des voisins peu respectueux de la vie en communauté et avons également été gênés parfois par des bruits extérieurs. -L'accès à la piscine n'est pas systématique et il faut tenir compte de l'occupation de celle-ci par divers clubs extérieurs et autres personnes abonnées, en résumé il y a pour les clients de l'hôtel des créneaux horaires bien spécifiques.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis. Nous avons même eu accès a la piscine alors que des cours de natation avaient lieu.

Very convenient. Short drive from the airport, easy parking, self check-in, good communication with staff prior check in. A lot of condensation in the room. Noise from outside vent systems all night long. Sunken mattress/bed. Pillows dressed in wrong size pillow cases (too small) exposing/not covering the pillows themselves.

Lovely place in the village of Carini. Nice, big, clean swimming pool. People at the reception very helpful and went out of their way to help us get around and make our stay comfortable.There’s a restaurant right next to the hotel called i cumpari, best pizza and seafood pasta I’ve ever had!! I will definitely return during warmer months and stay at Piano Monaco!

Belle piscine, restaurant annoncé, petit déjeuner possible... Ben non, tout est fermé ! En perdition à l'hôtel ! Heureusement, chambres vastes, confortables et propres, et service sympathique et disponible.

Wow...What an unusual hotel. This is a brand new building set up with a very nice restaurant and an Olympic size swimming pool! (one of the nicest I have ever seen in the world). Attached are six hotel rooms which are spotlessly clean, quiet and convenient to the airport which is just 10 minutes away. The staff, which runs the hotel and the swimming pool was very friendly and welcomed us warmly. We had a nice pizza dinner with salads in the Restautant. It was a perfect place to stay before we caught our early morning flight. I even got to go swimming with the pool lights on at night... quite lovely (pool closes at 9 pm)
