Americas Best Value Inn Rancho Palos Verdes

I thought the location and price were convenient until I got there it all went downhill and then the price made sense.

Usually you check in and you can find a worker happily standing there waiting to greet you, not here. Anytime I entered I had to wait a bit for the same guy to come out only to never greet or be friendly upon arriving. I didn’t like how rude the worker was, I’ve never had someone before tell me and the person (he was my guest) I was checking in (I reserved) with that the cards being used had to be only under the person checking in while the guest was trying to use their card the manager refused this, so after getting the cash and coming back to check in we went into the room only to find food behind the door, stains covering both seats in the room, mold in the shower, stains and spots all over the room from the tables to the walls and red paint spots when the room had zero painted items in it, and on the mirrors that were in the room were super smudged, it felt very gross being in the room I had decided to instantly check back out, strangely the table even had some spots and the drawers to a desk under the tv were sticking out so we tried to close it thinking they just needed a little push but they did not move because they were broken and stuck in place so we were scared to touch them more. It looked way more beautiful and nice in the pictures, maybe if I was drunk when I checked in I would’ve been okay with it but honestly it didn’t feel properly cleaned or like the proper attention was not paid to where it was needed.

The bed needed a new box spring it was noisy.
