Hampton Inn St Louis- at the Arch

The staff was so friendly. We were able to check in an hour early. It was in a great location. The bed was super comfy. The shower was magnificent! We would definitely stay there again!

Friendly staff, room was comfortable and reliable for a short stay.

No safe in the room and no locker rooms near the pool area.

Breakfast was phenomenal. Hotel is close to ballpark and the Arch. City museum not too far of a drive.

The rooms air conditioner had to be fixed worked for a bit and then wouldn't work. It would kick in full force during the morning hours and at night we were super hot. The room wasn't very clean. The lamp had cobwebs around the top. There was hair in the bathroom. The tub fixture looked like it was about to fall off. The workout room was hot, no air circulation which is a safety hazard for someone trying to workout. The elevator would not take us to our floor if someone else came in on a different floor. It kept taking us to the lobby even though we scanned a specific floor. There is no vent in the bathroom which was also not a good thing. Overall those are the things that I remember were frustrating. Not to mention that pillows need to be replaced and the bed made my back hurt.

TV didn't work right, fridge didn't work. Didn't know we had to pay to park, think $30 per night is high.

The location is wonderful, within walking distance of the Gateway Arch and downtown restaurants! Great views of the Arch as well, at least from our room!

The hotel is in a great location ! We had a wonderful view of the arch and the city from our room. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. There was one particular employee at the front desk who was so friendly and kind . I didn’t get her name but she was always seated on the right.

The only issue we had was the refrigerator in our room didn’t seem to be working.

The location. Because it is close to the Gateway Arch, so I can take a 10-min walk to this spot. It is also not far from MetoLink stations. Breakfast is OK--average standard. The city view is fantastic from the top floor.

The parking fee is $30/day, which is an overpriced and hidden charge. The public garage charges $30/day for any cars. That is to say the hotel takes its guests as anybody, not someone it should serve and please. Check-in was a nightmare. There was only one staff and before me there was a time-consuming guest asking questions again and again. Breakfast is served till 9 AM and the place is not spacious. Therefore between 8:30 and 9:00, it is hard to find a seat and leftover food. The table surface is sticky and gooey. The fridge makes noises when working.
