The Old Brewhouse

A lovely inn with rooms on first floor and restaurant / bar below. Rooms were pretty and comfy.

Nothing really, we got kicked out of the bar after 10pm but it also meant it is quiet for guests.

Friendliness of the staff. Lovely food. Cosy place with lovely views. Lovely bathroom and comfortable beds although a little narrow. We stayed in a twin room.

Although we managed to get parked on site as we were early it might have been Problematic if any later. However the inn is right on the harbour. There was limited availability of parking on the streets nearby.

Extremely dated and in need of updating. The floorboards are extremely squeaky, the beds were shaped more like hammocks, the tv didn’t work, no hairdryer in the room, extremely dated decor and coming back to the accommodation at night required access to an outdoor staircase and it was jet black outside to be honest it felt a bit freaky 🫣

All of the above 👆 plus check in wasn’t until 4pm

Where it was situated, and that the rooms had a separate entrance. Close proximity to the theatre.

There wasn’t anything i didn’t like. If I was being picky I would have preferred a walk in shower instead of shower into the bath.
