Petite Auberge

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. We absolutely loved the antique charm and character of the building. We chose a room with a fireplace, which made the experience even more cozy and enjoyable. The 24/7 tea and coffee area in the basement was a lovely touch and very convenient. The location was also excellent — just a short walking distance to Union Square, which made exploring the city very easy. The valet service was a bit expensive, but in a city like San Francisco, where car safety can be a concern, it gave us real peace of mind. The hotel staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. As a small suggestion, disposable slippers in the rooms would have been appreciated, and adding a wider variety of cheeses at breakfast could make the experience even better. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would happily return. Thank you for everything.

Could have coffee in the room

I enjoyed my stay at Petite Auberge! The ambiance, friendly staff, and extra perks - breakfast, evening wine/nibbles, and the cozy basement with couches and fireplaces. The location was convenient, clean and safe

Great location. Many walkable nearby attractions. Great for a non-car trip. (Valet parking - required - exorbitantly expensive.) Very friendly and helpful staff. I had a very quiet, comfortable room. I was upgraded to a fireplace room, which made me feel quite special. Breakfast spaces very comfortable and welcoming. I especially liked, and took good advantage of, the complimentary fizzy water. It was right next to the ice machine. Ah, heaven. And just like at home. I arrived late from Japan. Checking in at The White Swan two doors away was well-communicated, efficient, well-organized, and easy.
