The room was ok and the restaurant in the evening had good vibes

There was absolutely no service at this place. First evening had no warm water in the shower (no one responded to my message), I was not able to open the gates (called and messages the reception - no response). The place is actually a night time restaurant that then also has some rooms to let, thus the poor service and reluctancy to serve hotel guests. Not worth the money.

The staff was amazing (reception and cafe) and the breakfast prepared by Angela was great 👍. Beautiful location from where you can admire the Castle.

Just a little more of maintenance in the bathroom.

Friendly staff

The property was clean and the staff were exceptional. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. Ricardo was a fantastic waiter who spoke English and helped us with translation. In the evenings it was vibrant and seemed to be the place to go and have a drink and eat. We will definitely come back for a weekend visit.

Great location. Room was great and stylish. Equipped in all required elements. Perfect breakfast and tasty espresso!! Friendly and very helpful staff.

Restaurant was closed during our stay. I was counting for great local & tasty food.

Very poor breakfast

It feels totally isolated and deserted. You hear noone and nothing when the restaurant is closed and everyone has gone home. The room, which seems a renovated outbuilding is very spacious and well appointed. Good aircon which is needed during the hot months. It is nice to sit outside in the bar area, and chill. You have a full view of Castel del Monte at all times.

Because we do not speak Italian, the welcome was very unclear. We did not know where/how to check in and were taken to the wrong place to have a bite to eat after a gruelling journey. It is not clear that there is a very expensive restaurant, plus a bar where they serve snacks and light foods. Breakfast is fruit and cake, apparently standard in Italy. We could have done with some comfy seats outside our room rather than uncomfortable cabaret chairs.
