Parador Villa Parguera

The hotel needs a badly needed renovation. The restaurant looks like it was from the 70's, they serve juices and refreshments in plastic cups, the lobby looks old, there is a kiddie area with old equipment which is an eye sore for those of us who do not have kids, the staff was not accomodating, the woman in the front desk took a long time to check people in, the lobby looks dull and not inviting. In general, I did not enjoy my stay. i booked it for the location, but clearly will not return unless they do a renovation of the place.

I liked that it had the beach front view and a pool

Los cuartos necesitan mantenimiento en especial el baño .. entro un escorpión a la habitación limpiaron la misma no recogieron el mismo del piso a pesar que lo había notificado al counter son detalles que deben de mejorar para seguir apoyando la hospedería

Overall, great option to stay in La Parguera.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and they seemed great in our interactions with them. That being said, there were a number of things that didn't meet expectations. There was something odd about the keys, because someone else with keys for their room was able to open our room by mistake - that was surprising!! The onsite restaurant wasn't open at the times that they were advertised to be. The walls between rooms don't muffle voices or sounds very much at all- doubt there is any insulation/soundproofing in the frame walls. The air conditioner was so noisy we had to wear earplugs to sleep. There aren't any real tables to set things on, and were no suitcase stands, so we had to use the top of a tall dresser and bring chairs in from the balcony to set our luggage on - that was awkward. The listing states they have blackout curtains. That is true - the curtains are the right material. But the curtains are mounted in such a way that light just streams into the room. Seriously. I had no problem reading a book in bed with the curtains shut tight and no lights on. The landscaping looked well tended, but the buildings and structures have unrepaired things and a fair amount of deferred maintenance. Overall, though we liked our stay in La Parguera, we wouldn't stay at this facility again.

Deberian remodelar las habitaciones se ven muy anticuadas, sus condiciones estan exelentes pero siento q deberian actualizarlas, lo digo por el hecho de que hay otros paradores y hoteles q estan practicamente al mismo precio y estan bien modernos, lo que ayuda mucho a villa parguera es que su ubicacion esta perfecta y que el servicio de los empleados y su limpieza son excelentes.
