St Angela’s Lakeside Aparthotel

We arrived a little early for check-in and were invited to have a tea/coffee (free of charge) in the restaurant area which was a very positive start! There was a problem with the back door hinge which a maintenance guy fixed immediately. I later had the lens fall out of my glasses, this was also fixed by the very friendly maintenance guy!

I had requested twin beds but there was a double bed and the bedroom radiator wasn't working. Once the issues were reported to the reception, the issues were speedily resolved (but it would have been preferable not to have to deal with these in the first place).

Great apartment and had the kitchen and living area to myself as other rooms weren't booked And the onsite shop was handy

No selection on normal drinks in shop and the receptionist had to take payments and then show me to my apartment this lead to others had to wait to the lady came back.

Lovely place, scenery and staff

Our couch was two leather two seaters, the whole time we were there they shedded bits, millions of bits,we had two toddlers with us so of course they tried to eat it so we spent the whole time sweeping it up. Also we stayed two nights, when booking there were only two bed apartments left, but when we got there it was a three bedroom but we had to pay for the third bedroom to be unlocked, ended up costing us alot more to do that and previously when it was showing three bedroom availability online it worked out alot cheaper

Good facilities and the size of the apartment was good

Check in was 1.5 hours late as our apartment wasn’t ready so we had to wait around. We had a baby with us that needed fed and changed but no changing facilities while we waited for our room. Check in was supposed to be at 4pm but we didn’t get into our apartment until 5.15pm despite being there from 3.30pm. They did supply us with a bottle of wine and some chocolates as a gesture of goodwill but I feel they should have changing facilities in the main reception area.
