Location is good, easy to locate. Decent sized rooms and Beds are comfortable, Friendly staff. Fast check in and check out. Good parking options. Have a charger also for electric cars but unfortunately it is broken. Nearby to University mall for shopping and food.

Very cheap plastics in everything - plates, cutlery, etc. Not really to Marriot group standards. Expensive for the facilities offered. Very limited breakfast spread. Need better options and live ordering options.

I checked in the night before and still had to wait 2 hours for my room to be ready. Most of the staff seemed to be new and couldn’t answer basic question.

For starters, the elevators were off service the whole time (3 days) no elevator and 3rd floor room. Way too expensive for the quality.

Elevator didn’t work!!!!!!! I wouldn’t consider that to be a breakfast. The same thing everyday fake bacon and fake scrambled eggs. One day in the whole week we were there did they have something different then they had sausage.

I read the negative reviews in advance, but my daughter’s soccer team was staying here, so we decided to try to make it work. We are Marriott Bonvoy members and have stayed at many Marriotts/Courtyards/Residence and Fairfield inns, which are usually fine. My daughter showered first when we arrived, and I heard from the bathroom, “oh you weren’t kidding with those reviews, you’re not going to like the bathroom…” I’ll post a photo. We also had an issue with a random male employee opening the door out of the blue around 5pm. Also, the door deadbolt lock often jammed and we had to finagle it to get the door to close. The day before we checked out, we were walking back into the hotel when we smelled a strong septic like smell on the first floor. The management seemed to be running around trying to figure it out. Thankfully the smell was not in our room. If you have any other options, you probably should stay elsewhere.

The worst travel experience I have ever had! I was there Thursday through Sunday and assigned a room on the third floor. The elevator stopped working on Friday and was out of service upon my checkout yesterday. I checked in to the room and was informed that housekeeping would come every other day. I was told "it's in the fine print," when I commented that I was unaware of this schedule. Well, every other day would have been a luxury! Upon arrival to my room, I immediately noticed the carpet had not been vacuumed, since the previous guest! Filthy. When housekeeping arrived on Saturday, she handed me three towels. I tried to ask for cleaning, but she only spoke Spanish and dashed away. Friday the lock on my room stooped functioning properly. I was told by front desk that this just happens to the rooms sometimes and to fiddle with it from the inside. Now, thats a solution! Each day I stopped by the desk and asked to speak to the manager. He was never on property, regardless of day or night. I was assured he would call me each time - guess what- no call. I am certain that this hotel is violating a list of safety measures, but you can't complain. I confirmed my daily rate- only to have my card charged a much higher fee. You can't complain- no-one is there- no one cares! Today, I filed a report with Marriott corporate. I should have phoned the Sarasota building inspector!

Late check-in clerk not helpful or not interested to listen. No regards to the requests we had when we did the booking. Elevator out of order …had to carry 5 pieces of luggages down the stairs.
