The hotel room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The staff was lovely. The included breakfast was just ok

The room did not have the amenities listed on the booking app. I don't fault the hotel for this, but I paid more than I normally would have because it said the room would have a bathtub and a dvd player. Update the app with current information, or advise users to call the hotel before final booking.

Stayed at this hotel (Holiday Inn Express & Suites Petersburg/Dinwiddie, Virginia) from December 9 to December 13, 2024. The room at first glance was clean. When I got home, I saw that my whole body was bitten by bed bugs and it itched terribly. I wrote to the hotel with photos of the bites. But it has been more than 10 days and I have not received a response from the hotel. It is very unpleasant when the hotel management does not respond to complaints. Using various bite creams, I still feel discomfort and swollen redness all over my body from the bites. Be careful at this hotel. This was room 205 ( photo of room and bites attached).

The sausage was burnt, the bread was hard, the omlet was burnt and get this. The cereal was good but they had No white milk. I had to use chocolate milk in my cereal better rest of the breakfast was not fit to eat. The room bathroom fan was so nosy it needs cleaning. The rating for this is minus 5

Thought I reserved a room with 2 queen beds and a tub but I got a room with 2 doubles and a shower instead. Room was at the front if the hotel so we had to keep the shades down to keep the lights from the Holiday Inn sign and the lights from traffic out. Breakfast was good. Beds were comfortable.
