Kinbe Hotel Boutique

Thankfully the staff changed our room. We arrived after more than 30 hours of travel only to find a damp, dark room with no outlook. I advocated for a change and we moved to a more suitable room for our two week stay. I shared a king bed with my daughter. Not ideal. This is a hotel for singles or couples, not family. The staff were helpful with that move. If you are wanting the loud, party scene of Playa Del Carmen then this is the place for you. It’s smack dab in the middle of it all.

The rooftop is derelict. Lounge chairs falling apart. The pool is open to the street and not particularly friendly for sitting by as it’s in the middle of the building with no view. It was a little claustrophobic. This isn’t a hotel that you use during the day. It’s just a place to rest your head. It’s a 3 star hotel - and quite pricey for that. The rooms are small. Thankfully we had a kettle for coffee in the morning-bags from home. Overall clean but definitely needs a refresh. You’ll need your ear plugs. This hotel is surrounded by loud. I mean most of Playa is loud. But this place is boom boom loud. They supply ear plugs but bring your own loops. For the length of time we stayed there I would have opted for an AirBnB with more amenities.

We visited Hotel Kinbe for 10 days as a group. The hotel is well presented, very central and relatively quiet (for the location). Rooms are comfortable, well maintained but simple. Reception are attentive and super friendly.

Poca variedad en los desayunos.

Super zentrale Lage, der Strand ist nicht weit entfernt. Viele Restaurants und Geschäfte in der Nähe.

Die Diskotheken in der Umgebung hat man zwar gehört, uns hat es aber nicht gestört.

Sehr gute Lage direkt am Anfang der 5th Avenue aber nur für Tiefschläfer die bei starkem Lärm (Clubs und Bars bis tief in die Nacht) schlafen können.

Laute Musik (Bässe!) der Bars in der Umgebung. Teilweise bis 4 Uhr nachts. (Yuppi‘ss Sportsbar ist besonders schlimm!)

Noises from alö night clubs but if you choose to live in the muddle of party places so you have to take it. Nothing negative but it is a choice
