Infinity Hotel San Francisco, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

Staff is friendly, location is centralized and the cafe is perfect. Second stay at Infinity SF.

I booked this through Hilton and thought it would be a good option for our visit to San Francisco. Overall, the staff was friendly but the hotel is noisy. They even give you complimentary ear plugs. My room was next to the elevator, so I heard that ALL NIGHT LONG. Then, the room above also caused noise when flushing the toilet and just walking. Our room faced a courtyard that had people eating next to a fire pit, their voices echoed everywhere from the crack of dawn. A couple other issues were their pillows which were like styrofoam and very uncomfortable not Hilton standards and there was a frosted window peaking into the bathroom, you can see whoever in the bathroom doing their business. I would not recommend.

Great location, an easy walk to shops, restaurants, parks etc. Room was a decent size with drawers and hanging space. Bonus points for having a fridge and microwave. Bathroom a great size. Male staff member who checked us in was amazing and very helpful and friendly.

A female staff member at reception was extremely rude everytime we saw and spoke to her. We left our bags there after checking out until we needed to head to the airport and when we went back asking to add a small pillow to our belongings she said let out a massive annoyed sigh as if we were a huge bother! We watched her with everyone else and she seemed to lack any joy for her job and seemed miserable with everyone and her job.

I needed a room near the Marina District and this seemed the best option. It definitely feels like a hotel and not like the other motels on the street. The rooms are spacious and reasonably comfortable. The staff were friendly. Close to lovely cafes and restaurants on Chestnut.

The window out onto the walkway is odd. I felt the need to keep the blinds drawn all day for privacy. At times it felt like people were walking in your room. The fan was very loud and although I switched it off over night, I was woken by a noise of a fan switching on (possibly in the shower room) twice in the night.
