The Equus

I was there for a conference and the location was perfect

It was very quaint. Staff was friendly. The road noise was loud and there is no elavator from the street to the motel. So we had a friend that had both knees replaced so it was tuff on him getting up the steps and it was quite a few (I didn't count) and you had to carry your luggage up and down. They did get a staff member to help us get them up but leaving a guest helped us.

Rooms are a decent size, noisy at the time due to construction but not the hotels fault Very small parking for a handful of cars, be prepared to park elsewhere and walk

I really enjoyed my stay at Equus, staff was really friendly and felt like a family oriented hotel. They came everyday to clean our room and restock our towels. I definitely recommend the city view. Also Matt, was a very friendly bartender who helped up go to great places to eat and visit.

We loved staying here. Room was nice. The cafe/bar in the lobby was great and the staff were friendly and helpful. We used the bus to get around and the stop is very close.

Rooms were clean and pretty nice. Beds are very soft. We had a little trouble with the AC it said it was on but it did not feel like it. Parking is a little weird they were under construction so there was only a limited amount of spaces. It’s also super easy to miss the pull in for the parking lot. Staff was AMAZING super friendly and accommodating. The bar was cute and very busy, food and drinks were great. My favorite part was the pool. It’s small and super cold. Like ice bath cold therapy cold. I loved it. We will most def be back next year!

Woke up to cockroaches on my counter… that was all I needed to see to not want to be there anymore. Gathered my things and left. Also, room located right outside of outside bar and was noisy.

Property is close to a lot of things Rooms clean staff is nice.

Great location for a pre cruise place to stay.
