Comfort Suites Miamisburg - Dayton South

I liked the pillows and the bed. That's the main reason I always stop at Comfort Inns and Suites. However, They put me on the 2nd floor at the end of the hall right next to a big intake fan and every time it came on it rattled. It was very loud. I considered asking for a room change but I had already unpacked and didn't want to go to the trouble. That fan woke me up several times during my 5 night stay. Also, the lobby floor had mud all over it. I didn't want to walk in mud each time I went in or out so I had to watch where I was going. The carpets in the lobby looked as if they hadn't been vacuumed in a long time. As I said, mud! There was trash outside leading to the entrance that stayed there all 5 days I was there. The ashtrays on the walls were full so people resorted to just throwing butts on the ground. The hotel was just very trashy looking from the moment I got out of my car until you got to my room.

The front desk has no idea what they are doing. Tried to get me to pay for my room twice by saying my card declined. Went online to my bank statement and the payment went through and the front desk employee tried to tell me I still needed to pay.

Never got the room cause i had my kids just to swim for 2 hours while we waited on there mom to pick them up I told to book a different room never got a refund

Horrible service, disgusting hotel. Smelled horrible the person at the front desk was rude and nasty when they failed at their explaining things when asked. We go to Ohio for competition events and we will never recommend them to our organization.

Very clean! Breakfast was in short supply, we never really saw many employees, except the cleaning staff in the morning who were very friendly, and I am from the South but hospitality otherwise was low. A very dated hotel.

Definitely returning

The hotel immediately smelled of mothballs. Paint was chipping off walls. Curtains did not close all the way for a room on the 1st floor right on the parking lot. Was afraid to put luggage anywhere else than the luggage cart. Comforter had stains on it. Terrified of contracting bed bugs.

Very nice and clean friendly employees

The bed had no comforter the remote had no batteries the spout to the bath was so rusted it wouldn't even go into bath and it was a handicap room. I had to give 100$ deposit to not smoke in the room and I still have not yet received my refund after spending 10 minute breaks in the snow.

Rude staff, disregarded all problems with my room.

Staff was friendly, hotel very dated.
