"2nd stay as good as the first"

Size of the rooms is wonderful. The beds are comfortable with plenty of pillows and extra blankets provided when asked for. The kitchenette and full sized fridge were very useful, and the breakfast, social hour and pool/hot tub were all very welcome amenities. The furniture, carpet, drapes and paint could use an update but the size of the rooms, convenient location and plentiful amenities more than make up for it. This was our second stay here in 6 months and will be our go-to lodging in Madison area in the future.

"Great pet friendly hotel near Madison Wisconsin."

Have been staying here for several years. Rooms always clean and the kitchenette with regular size refrigerator and freezer is so nice. I have two small dogs and there is a nice area behind the hotel to walk your dogs. Breakfast buffet has a nice variety of food choices.

"Close to Bob Suter Rink"

Our stay coincided with the High School Hockey State Tournament. The location was perfect, and the service was outstanding. Although we also stayed last year, this year's accommodations were somewhat disappointing. We noticed stains on the bedding and bathroom walls, and the shower was not clean. During checkout, we noticed old candy wrappers behind furniture and under the beds. Additionally, the room had an unpleasant odor. Upon arrival, the air conditioning was quite cold, set to an unusually low temperature of 58°F.

"Visually disgusting. Desperately needs renovation and TLC"

The general concept of Staybridge Suites is great--large rooms, separate bedrooms, full kitchens. But the execution is so poor that I would not recommend anyone staying there. My room was not just tired and old-feeling, it was visibly disgusting, with unpainted patches of wall and ceiling, carpet stains, chipped furniture, dead lightbulbs, an ancient TV, and overall lack of maintenance that was frankly shocking. Zero effort seems to be made to create a visually appealing space. In addition, the woman working at the front desk when I checked in was unaccountably rude.
