Honeysuckle Inn - Mountain View

The room and the whole property are very nice. It is close to the highway, so you can hear the traffic. However, the air conditioner did not turn on and off all night, as generally happens in hotels, so the constant sound blocked most of the traffic sounds. We really enjoyed our stay!

We stayed 1 night @ Honeysuckle Inn Mountain View, MO. 3 large negatives to our stay: 1. we found clothing from a previous tenant hanging on the back of the bathroom door, 2. we found a pizza slice in the microwave oven, 3. the TV shut off after 30 minutes with a notice on screen stating an update was needed . The first 2 left us feeling the cleanliness and attention to cleaning of the room was substandard. The front desk clerk apologized reference the clothing left behind. The front office was closed when we discovered the pizza in the microwave and the faulty TV so we stayed the night. We notified the desk clerk the next morning reference the 3 negatives and an apology was offered along with a sorry excise blaming the help. With all the fines and penalties for violating policies this hotel has in print, it would have been a sign of good faith to refund a portion of our rate. But no, they kept the money.

Nice spot to take an overnight break.

Could not get there do to food poisoning. Should be refunded. After this experience I will not make reservations in advance.

Was a decent stay for the short visit. Staff was friendly

Convenient location, clean, comfortable rooms, & helpful, friendly staff. Plenty of safe, well-lit parking.

The wifi was a little weak but not a deal breaker

The room was clean, but there was no electrical outlet for my cpap machine, on the side of the bed that I'm used to sleeping on. I reserved the room a month in advanced and my friend reserved her room shortly afterward asking that her's be close to mine, but mine was downstairs and hers was upstairs and there were no hand rails going up and down the stairs and she's 84 years old! And most of the food was gone by the time we came to the lobby for breakfast. My friend and I couldn't use our cell phones because the cell service was so bad, even after connecting to the Inn's wifi. So if we wanted to arrange to go out and eat, one of us had to walk up and down the stairs. The bad cell service also caused a problem when my friend's daughter couldn't contact her for over 24 hours. She was finally able to contact me on my computer, but only after 48 hours had passed.

There had been smokers in the room.
