Royal Inn and Suites

The room was in a ridiculous state of disrepair. The fire alarm was missing from the wall and wires exposed. There was a hole in the bathroom wall. The sheets, comforter, blanket, pillow cases, towels, loveseat, walls, carpet, and ceiling were stained. The parking lot had piles of broken bricks and cinder blocks, which was odd. The tv was excellent, both in content (Directv) and the way it was mounted in the room. The outside of the entire property was also very well lit at night.

Toilet was broken..mattress was hard and uncomfortable. Woke up with back hurting.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was perfect for my needs. The one thing that was troublesome for me was the king size bed, which was very tall and hard to get into. There are lower beds available, and I will use one of these on my next stay.

The door yo the room wad broken and I had to slam the door hard so it would close.The sheets weren't clean and the beds weren't properly made up after we had slept in them the first night.Basically they just pulled the covers up we weren't provided with face towels the second day.

The room was very old looking and hadn’t been updated in decades. But the true surprise was when we tried to deadbolt the door before going to bed and discovered it wouldn’t lock. Went to the desk where the owner informed us if we’d said something earlier, she could’ve changed rooms but at this point, we had no alternatives. She knew several deadbolts didn’t work, but wasn’t concerned about fixing them. I’ll never stay there again.

It was a great stay. Just so not expect 5 star quality. It's a really clean spot to crash. We stayed 2 nights. It was quiet. It was clean. They dont have expensive sheets and towels but they are clean. Breakfast is continental. They are a motel so entrance and exit is outside. They need some cosmetic TLC to the rooms but it really is clean. The front desk folks are very pleasant. I would stay here again. Especially if, for some reason, the casino hotels are overpriced for the weekend. At least here, there is no resort fee and they are about 10 mins from the Casinos. Oh, at first I swore the bed was going to be a horrible sleeping experience. Nope, we slept like a pair of newborn babies. It had a refrigerator and microwave in the room. If that matters. Oh and you know how if you buy water or soda pops at a hotel its darn near $3 bucks??? Here, only ONE dollar. I bought 4 bottled waters LOL just because. But yeah. This place is waaaaay different than what I am used to. I usually stay at more expensive "hotels" but, everything was overpriced unnecessarily this weekend for some reason. I just refused to indulge in that. It was a last minute visit to Mississippi. The price here was excellent and I like being the Guinea pig for places as long as there are no bugs. There were NO bugs.😊

This hotel should be remodeled and cleaned up. The bathroom floor was filthy, spider and web in corner, towel rack broken, bed was bouncy and too high almost fell out of it getting in, no safety lock on door, barbed wire around perimeter of hotel and all around just a horrible hotel. Staff was nice but obviously a family lives there and runs it on a bare minimum budget. Luckily we we're going to the casinos and only spent about 8 hours sleeping in the room. Will never stay there again save your money and go somewhere else. All in all this hotel was scary.

This is a nononsense motel for a quick nights rest and back on the road. It is an old style motor hotel with all the basic nevmcessoties.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable. We were in town for an event at the Tunica Arena so we actually weren't in the room but to sleep. The man at the desk was very nice and polite.

The staff was really not friendly at all and it was not a good place to stay at all
