Vinje Camping

The staff at the campsite were lovely - very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The cabin was clean, comfortable and spacious. It is in a great location just above the village of Geiranger but close enough to walk to the centre. We were able to self cater for our stay which is what we wanted - there are only 2 hob rings and a small oven but it is enough if you plan right and there was enough cutlery and crockery provided. We needed to do some laundry while we were there and there is a washing machine and dryer available for use - staff very helpful in getting this sorted. We knew when we booked that this was a basic camping cabin but it exceeded our expectations for comfort.

We paid for the linen pack but it didn’t include towels. Didn’t matter as we had 2 with us - but just as a warning for future guests you need your own towels!

The best location Cabin with crazy view, with kitchen and more. Very beautifull and special

De huisjes hebben een fantastisch uitzicht op t Fjord! Huisjes zijn schoon en hebben tof balkon.

De badkamer is wat primitief met ouderwetse kranen en een douchegordijn. Een kookpit was niet bruikbaar, als je die aanzetten sprongen alle stoppen, maar er kwam direct iemand kijken. Die kon het helaas niet maken, maar bood wel een draagbare electrische pit aan.

Good value for money and great location.

We had a cosy, comfortable, well maintained and clean cottage with a beautiful view on the Geirangerfjord. The Vinje camping is nicely situated, close to the Geirangerfjord, the village of Geiranger and several waterfalls. The camping has a nice and varied layout. There is a small store at the reception desk, where the staff is very friendly and helpful.

A bit expensive… The shower curtain does not match the class of the cottage.
