Best Western St Louis Kirkwood Route 66

Beds are comfortable, room is tidy and big. Clean bathroom.

Wifi technically not usable, Pool closed eventho it should have been opened regarding to the official writing. Sadly my complaint regarding the WiFi was laughed at and they ended the phone call. TV takes ages to turn on and selection of channels is limited.

Great hotel - excellent location, great price.

The room was beautiful, with just ONE EXCEPTION--the desk chair (Room 403), while completely functional--looked like it had been beat to death around the edges--what a jarring site against all the other updated furnishings.

Breakfast was good, though the pancake machine needed more mix. Room was clean and tidy. Staff was good.

There was a towel rack in the room that needs replacement. They didn't program my keys properly the first time. This meant that I had to come back down from the third floor.

We had a quiet room on the second floor, which was convenient to the breakfast room and to the stairs. Our king size bed was very comfortable and the room had nice spaces for clothes and all our necessities

The bathroom was a bit small and lacked a hand towel bar and storage for our bathroom stuff. It also did not have a wastebasket, which we found inconvenient.

The location was good for what we were doing in St Louis.

The bathroom was very old and used with peeling paint on the door, a tub with the enamel scrubbed so much that it had grey stains, and with black mold in the corner of the bathroom ceiling. The bathroom had two very old bath towels, one of which was stained. We had exactly ONE hand towel for two people. The staff was barely cordial. We managed to accomplish all our family business a day early and checked out before 11 am on Sunday, May 24th rather than staying thru to May 25th. We were not offered a printout of our revised billing showing the amount reflecting our shortened stay. I received notification today of the pending billing showing the full amount for four days rather than the days. I find that unacceptable.

Nice property for one night stay.

It’s a bit dated.
