Altstadthotel Harburg

The room was clean and comfortable. It included a small fridge for keeping beverages cool and an electric kettle with complimentary tea provided by the hotel. The bed was very comfortable, and the furniture appeared to be quite new. The bathroom was spacious and spotless, though the shower cabin was a bit small and the showerhead slightly worn.

The location was fine for me, as I used to live not far from the hotel. However, I did feel a bit uneasy about how the area has declined recently, especially when arriving by train. It’s not dangerous by any means, but it has become somewhat run-down, with several empty shops and a few homeless people around. Of course, this is beyond the hotel’s control, and the hotel itself remains excellent. Still, I think future guests should be aware of this in advance so they’re not taken by surprise.

Ruhige Lage, kostenloser Parkplatz im Hof. Super schöne Gasse mit guter Gastronomie und tollem Irish Pub mit Livemusik gegenüber. Sehr nettes Personal.

Kein Fahrstuhl. Man muss mit dem Gepäck gut zu Fuß sein.

Die Dame am Empfang war sehr nett.

Die Bahn fuhr gefühlt alle 30 Minuten durch das Zimmer. Es war sehr laut.

Acomodação e café

Uma coisa incoveniente e que não mostrava no ato da reserva era que não tinha elevador. Tivemos que subir com as malas os 3 andares. Foi péssimo! Meus pais com 80 anos. Se eu soubesse, não reservaria. Foi horrível!
