The Driftwood Resort

Unique, historic resort with friendly staff. Walking distance to shops, and restaurants. On sight restaurant, two pools, easy access to beach and overall a great place. Really, no dislikes here, that were under the resorts control (a few screechy toddlers at dinner and poolside, but I guess unavoidable at a family resort)

I want to move in permanently. ❤️❤️ Food, staff, views, location, convenience, price-all great.

Ocean view was great. Food and drinks very good and very reasonable.

We like the Vero Beach area very much and the Driftwood is a big part of the area's history. If Old Florida is interesting to you, and you don't need the flashiest accommodations, then this place is great.

Recommend getting a 3rd or 4th room as you then have ocean view rooms. No ocean front rooms are open to folks that get reservations from on line sources like hotels.com must deal with the resort directly to insure those!

The property is dated and the bed was mediocre. Note: the clerk at checkin was so rude ( and I grew up in NYC) we considered leaving .

Front desk staff was great. Cleaning crew not attentive. They picked up our old towels and wash cloths and soap and did not replace with new. Also did not leave replacement coffee. Front desk happily provided, but we had to go there twice

Excellent for price. Just wish the weather was nicer as being right on the beach.

I loved the easy ocean access, but parking was a problem, especially for handicapped.

What isnt unique? Rustic in the middle of posh. Staff was excellent. Had lunch at Waldo's. Again excellent. This IS NOT the Holiday Inn. The Driftwood iscrustic old Florida charm.
