Funchal Lux I by An Island Apart

Location is great, apartment is big with nice balcony.

Bed was awful, towels were worn and even had holes, parking place was very small and extremely inconvenient to park.

suddenly on 1st night , during the night in the bedroom rolls broke. parking only for very small car with parktronics sensor ) it would be great to have additional blankets

The location was great and the quality of the apartment was above expectations.

The mattress was too firm.

Very good location. Beautiful view. Bright, spacious apartment, large windows. We found everything we needed in the apartment.

Sometimes the noise from the street disturbed our sleep.

- Modern looking. It looks like it was recently renovated. Really clean and the sent housekeeping over in the middle of the stay. The amazing balcony was the cherry on the cake - amazing location. close to Funchal center, easy to get out of the city with a rental car. A lot of services in the neighborhood (Tip: just around the corner, in the street next to the fuel station are amazing food options, a bakkery, good restaurants, etc.) - Staff responded fairly quick for questions

- We were with four persons, although advertised as suitable for 4. The apartment is a better fit for two persons. We didn't mind, but keep this in mind. - Not enough ammenties. Things like toilet rolls, garbage bags, dishwasher tablets ran out extremely fast with four people. - The spare duvet for the sleeping couch had stains. Luckily it was hot enough that we didn't needed it, but this was unfortunate. - the balcony lights were not working and there was water leaking on the door frame of the toilet. Things like this prevents the stay to become perfect.

Good location, in apartment you have everything what you need, spacious, clean, comfortable:)
