"Traditional pub with great food and comfortable rooms."

Friendly clean and welcoming. Excellent evening meal, easy parking and a pleasant beer garden.

Bit of road noise but nice to be in the heart of the village. (Good cafe opposite for proper coffee!)

"Lovely stay at delightful pub."

The staff are friendly and welcoming. We booked dinner at the adjoining pub where the service and food were excellent. Our room was pleasant, clean and comfortable and had a fridge with fresh milk for the tea and coffee which was a nice bonus. Although we would have preferred a cooked breakfast, the team provide a thoughtful range of breakfast snacks: cereal, porridge, yoghurt etc. We will definitely stay here again.

It's a wonderful pub, just minutes from the East Maling train station. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere lively, and the room I stayed in was really comfortable and squeaky clean. It's a great price and certainly worth staying if you need a place to be locally for visiting friends or family.

Reserved parking that was easy to access for an early departure

Mattress on the bed was not comfortable. There were no towels on arrival (they were given when requested) and we only realised there was just the one mug, glass, breakfast portion in the room. It was booked as a double for 2 people.

Lovely small room clean and had all amenities required for our 1 night stay. Nice hot shower. Tv in room and breakfast and tea facilities available is a lovely touch

"Very good value , and spotless"

We made a booking and was there within 10 minutes , what a lovely place couldn’t fault it the staff were so friendly.The breakfast in the room was just right . What a nice touch . We spoke to the head chef as we were leaving what a nice man .We were visiting my sister in law in the hospice nearby . Sadly we will be coming back for her funeral 💔, and hopefully will get in again absolutely perfect for our needs .Thank you x
