Needed more protein options at breakfast
USThe breakfast was basic but well stocked. The quality of coffee and food was very generic and I'd rather pay less and go out to eat somewhere with decent quality food.
We smelled an overpowering cleaner and had to open the windows to the freezing rooms to get it aired out. My elderly mother was very cold. It's summer and they had chilled the rooms to frigid. We had stayed here before and been pleased but something is really off in the smell and the atmosphere of this place. Also they place was very empty but they crowed everyone into one wing of rooms making it noisy above and on the side of the hotel where there is major construction on the street. We had wanted to treat our family but this was depressing. Very bland, sterile, weird smell and not a pleasant stay.

Fronr desk staff was flustered and somewhat curt. She was alone and it was busy. We had an issue with our booking. When the booking agent was trying to call her, she wouldnt take the call, kept putting him on hold. Could benefit from customer service and multitasking instruction.
