Red Roof Inn Marion, VA

Dirty,dark,dingy. Should be torn down. Shouldnt charge more than $20/ night

The property appeared old and is probably difficult to keep clean. Too noisy: helicopter, plane, train and other guests were noisy after midnight. Bed was not comfortable and when I took a shower, there was a roach in the tub.

Trash pickup was too early in the morning. It should be scheduled later in the day. Noise (talking)from the room next door could be heard.

The staff was helpful in recommending a Chinese restaurant and check in. Only stayed one night.

BF could not get hot water for a shower, curtains were torn. Room could stand a coat of paint to cover chips.

Too many maintenance issues to even list them. If we hadn’t already paid with our reservation, we would not have stayed. We realized this was not a premium property when we booked, but we have never had a Red Roof be in such poor condition.

Very spare. The room was clean, but there is a sour smell in the common area. Next to the railroad tracks in a safe part of town.

Had to switch rooms because of smell Had to tighten toilet seat - bed was dreadful Terribly in need of updating Cracked tiles, tub etc

Cheap, reasonably quiet, nuthin fancy, clean, pretty good bed...

Very dated, plain, unfinished - but ya get what ya pay for.

Decent hotel. Booked nonsmoking room, was given a smoking room. Overbooked hotel.
