Riad Alqimam

Warm, comfy, and welcoming stay, situated in a silent alley off the main bazaar.

Breakfast was very basic but good quality. The room was a bit dark. Pillows very uncomfortable, and sheets felt worn although you could tell they are clean. These are small touches that can make the stay perfect.

Location, near to the souk and most of the Marrakesh city attractions are not too far. The hospitality of the owners and staff was great.

The narrow entrance walk to the property was a bit confusing and I felt suffocating on the first day, until I got used to it by 2nd / 3rd days. The walkway was clean enough though.

Autentiska 130 gadus veca riāda, ļoti laipni, pretīmnākoši saimnieki, brokastis vienkāršas, bet pietiekoši labas. Atrodas šaurā tirgus sānieliņā, tā vakarā ir apgaismota, un nokļūšana naktsmītnē ir droša.

Riad molto bella posizionata a circa 15 minuti a piedi dai giardini di Ysl. Per raggiungerla abbiamo preso un taxi dall'aeroporto e ci siamo fatti lasciare al College Mohamed V. Una volta li a 5 minuti a piedi tramite navigatore arriverete alla Riad altrimenti chiedete consigli a loro sono stati molto gentili con noi che siamo arrivati alla sera tardi. Per i successivi 3 giorni ci siamo spostati a piedi le principali attrazioni sono a 30 minuti massimo di camminata; armatevi di gps per muovervi nei Souk siccome è molto facile perdervi ma detto questo non avrete nessun tipo di problema! Colazione molto buona e semplice ogni mattina cambiavano le portate.

Forse i cuscini per dormire sono un pò scomodi perchè molto sottili, ci sono due varianti ma le ho trovate scomode entrambe però va a gusto chiaramente.

Hosts were very kind and accommodating. They arranged taxis and luggage transport to the riad which made things very easy for us. They were also able to do some laundry for us, which was much needed and so convenient.

Wonderful stay at this riad. The room was beautiful, well equipped and spotless. Showers was great and the bed was very comfortable. I was solo travelling so got the airport transfer, felt safe and well looked after the whole time. Breakfast was a lovely bonus too!

The rooms have original doors and shutters so not totally noise proof. I didn’t have a problem as everyone was respectful of the quite times but if your a light sleeper it might not be the best option. Also the toilet seat in my room was a little bit of a squeeze and I only managed to fit.. might have been an issue if you’re tall.

Proprietari molto gentili e disponibili, un grazie speciale. Ottima la posizione, a pochi minuti a piedi dai punto d’incontro per le escursioni a 10 minuti dalla piazza e direttamente nelle vie del souk.

Onze kamer was alles wat we nodig hadden, aanpalend aan het zalige dakterras. Hier zijn veel leuke hoeken gecreëerd. Ontbijtje lekker, en er werd zelfs een ontbijt pakket gemaakt toen we vroeg in de ochtend moesten vertrekken. Hartelijk bedankt!

Wij vonden het wat moeilijk om te vinden, maar even een belletje en we werden tegemoet gewandeld :)
