Tombstone Lookout Lodge, SureStay Collection by Best Western

The view was beautiful and scenic, as were the murals around the property. Simple hot breakfast was appreciated, without a lot of fuss and bother. The manager was fun to visit with. They had juice, yet not fresh fruit with the breakfast. The property was recently purchased by a new owner, who will be renovating each area of the property and buildings step by step, so there will be big changes happening.

This is a cute country place with a great view. The staff was amazing, we had a great time here.

Wonderful, quiet location with lots of room for the family to move around! The start was super friendly and accommodating!

The bedding was old and a little uncomfortable.

Our stay was very peaceful, I recomend it for anyone wanting some privacy and peace. The sound of the river at night while in the tub was wonderful, the lighting ambiance was perfect. Will definitely stay again!

We had the rooms downstairs and really enjoyed sitting outside our room to enjoy the weather & scenery.

They couldn't give me the 2 rooms I booked next to each other so my kids were around the corner from us and we also looked forward to the swimming pool to find out it was really small & dirty.

The staff were relatively friendly.

1. The parking lot needs repaved. 2. The floors in our room turned our feet black they were so dirty. 3. The room phones didn't work, so we had to walk to the front desk to ask a simple question. 4. The pool was closed both days because "it needs cleaned". 5. They allow 10-12 people per room as evidenced by the two rooms next to us. 5.

This is an older property with a recent management change, so I will give them the benefit of the doubt that the place will be tidied up soon. I'd say it doesn't need much, but start with new mattresses first. The one in our room was so worn out the sheets wouldn't stay on the corners. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was worth waiting for each morning. We've staid here before and have no reason not to stay again!
