Great value and location when traveling through !!!

What a great find! The overall property was welcoming and had plenty of places to relax. Our room exceeded expectations. Not only was it spotless and comfortable, but it had nice touches that seem to have been lost in hotel rooms these days: a fridge, a microwave, a coffee spot, and table with two chairs, and lamps on both nightstands that had working electrical outlets! High quality towels and linens, too, and a nice note from management in the room informing us that all of the water on property is filtered and safe to drink.

Breakfast was decent but a bit sparse; there was oatmeal and plenty of pastries, but it would have been nice to provide some fresh fruit.

It was clean.

There was constantly cleaning racks in the way, blocking way in and out, making lots of noise. Breakfast items sucked.

I was pleasantly surprised by how reasonable it was given that it has such an iconic name. I didn’t find out till after I had checked in that the restaurant has been closed, but honestly, I was on the fence about eating there. My old body just can’t process so many restaurant foods as well anymore.

I would just say that if you have any trouble walking, you might want to be on the first floor or ask to be sure to be able to park close to one of the stairways to the second floor.

Gut ausgestattetes Hotel. Freundliches Personal. Drumherum gibt es wenig zu sehen. Solvang ist ca. 10 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Wer also wegen Solvang kommt, sollte dort besser übernachten.

Das Frühstück!!! Der Frühstücksraum war viel zu klein für das Hotel. Das Angebot bestand eigentlich nur aus einem abgestandenen Kaffee und Gebäck. 1 Stück pro Person!!! Wir waren sehr enttäuscht und sind lieber in einem Diner in der Nähe frühstücken gegangen.
