Beautiful gardens, comfortable room, great breakfast, host was interesting and informative.

A unique place with beautiful grounds overlooking the mountains to the west in Guatemala. A family business, a very nice family. I'd stay here again.

Shower was not up to par, which happens to be super important to me as I spend all day in the jungle and come home a dirty mess who needs a good shower. Food service is a little disorganized.

More rustic than expected even though I read and reviewed the property thoroughly. Was still fine and did not hinder our stay at all. Picture of bathroom would be more transparent. Also picture of cottage layout with room numbers would be helpful for booking a specific room location.

The property grounds are magnificent. This is family run and the preservation of the land and business is very important. We were extremely grateful to be welcomed and share this land and experience. What a beautiful spot. Thank you to you all!!

Door de super aardige gastheer Dominic voelden we ons gelijk welkom. Hij is zeer geïnteresseerd en aardig. De locatie is geweldig tussen de weilanden aan de rand van de rivier en het bos. Je gaat slapen met jungle geluiden en wordt wakker met het geluid van vrolijk kwetterende vogels. De kamers zijn schoon en de bedden slapen lekker. Taxi naar de omliggende attracties zijn zo geregeld.

We sliepen aanvankelijk in een zeer gehorig huisje, perfect als je met kinderen op pad bent en je kinderen in het huisje ernaast slapen, maar voor ons was dat niet zo prettig. Gelukkig heeft Dominic gelijk een ander huisje voor ons geregeld.

Getting around was challenging if you don't have a car

We had a very pleasant stay and the accommodation itself was excellent. What really made the difference, however, was the hospitality of the owner, Dominic. He is truly a man of the world: open-minded, interesting, and very engaging to talk to. He takes genuine interest in his guests, while at the same time giving them enough space and freedom, which creates a perfect balance. Conversations with him were always enjoyable and intellectually stimulating. We always felt welcome and could count on him whenever needed.
