The price and location are well worth the stay! We went to Monterey to go all around to Pacific Grove, Monterey, Carmel, and Point Lobos so we were really only in the hotel for resting. At the price, it was perfect for everything because it only took about 5-10 minutes to get everywhere we needed and the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable for almost half the price of other hotels. The area feels safe with lots of stores and restaurants nearby (and one diner actually located in the parking lot). We only interacted with one staffer in the lobby from Check-in to check-out but they were extremely friendly and helpful! We really enjoyed how they had extra towels available at any time in the lobby so you can grab them when you needed them and they also had hot and cold water available so you don’t have to pay to grab a cup or refill a bottle. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and we will definitely come back here for future Monterey trips. The Christmas decor was also an adorable touch :)

I thought that parking was included on the Booking listing of the hotel but it is a $10 per night fee (which is totally fine but just be aware if you also didn’t see it) and then our microwave in our room didn’t seem to spin but it still heated up food well enough. The walls were a little thin as far as hearing our neighbors but not anymore than I’ve heard at other hotels and they were also speaking at a louder volume.

Room was clean and everything appeared well kept. Manager and staff were very friendly and helpful.
