Dalmeny Shores

Over the last three years we have had several stays at Dalmeny Shores to visit family in the area. We preferred the upstairs two bedroom unit which became our home away from home as it had plenty of space, fantastic coastal views and secure parking. The units are within easy walking distance to the supermarket, cafes, bus stop and the beach. Dalmeny Shores has several accommodation options, providing an ideal setting for gatherings with friends/family. The owners were always accommodating, often accepting last minute changes to the duration of our stay. Dealing direct with the owners was a blessing, so much better than booking with agencies or on-line.

Many great facilities include huge balcony view of ocean and blinds that keep wind out and view in, wifi, great kitchen, piano, 4 couches in living room, large dining table, large garage area with extras like bikes, boogie boards and a canoe. Great location 50 ms supermarket, coffee shops, fish and chips. 100 mwalk to beach, shallow inlet for children to swim safely, great waves, close to Lake Mumuga for fishing. We had the perfect extended family holiday.

The Apartments of Dalmeny are located 200 meters from the beach and just 50 meters to the IGA Suoermarket. They feature a garden with BBQ, and a huuuge terrace overlooking the bay. The house was more than clean when we arrived and beautifully furnished. The living room is great and spacious and there is even games and DVDs you can use. We felt very much like home and we stayed more than two weeks. We rented the big Apartment with 3 bedrooms and did't regret it. So much space for our son to play. The playground, which is really dirty by the way is only 100 meters away at the beach front. there is also a nice and quiet lagoon for children to swim and a good point break for surfing just behind it. If you consider staying in Narooma area, this house is defenitely the best option. You can tell the owners really love the house and take great care of it. everything was perfect, and i mean PERFECT! And you're lucky, the house is a very good value for money. If you want a quiet family holiday this IS the place for you. But consider that Dalmeny and Narooma are very quiet, and you need a car or at least a bike to get around.
