"My expectations were met, clean sheets and a shower."

Everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and there was adequate linens

The Travelodge by Wyndham room was pricey considering the need for overhaul/updating. I stayed at Best Western the following night. That room was updated, $80 cheaper AND it included full breakfast with toast, eggs, yogurt and all that goes with it.

"We were sad that we didn’t pay for a better hotel."

It had a bed.

It was dirty, moldy, poorly appointed. The plumbing fixtures were not even properly installed. The TV remotes didn’t work and we could not turn off the TV at night. There were roaches. The hotel appears to be under renovation, but it is locked down. There were no amenities in the lobby except for coffee. This was a really bad hotel.

"Overall did not meet expectations"

The front desk person was nice

The hotel did not meet my expectations, for one I didn't feel safe, with other guests, I was next to smokers , noise etc...and the room was not as clean as I anticipated, as far as the bathroom is concerned. Overall I stayed 3 hours and checked out. Did not finish my stay.
