Best Western Carmel's Town House Lodge

La colazione è un po’ basica, ma comunque accettabile. Manca un servizio lavanderia (anche solo una lavatrice a gettoni sarebbe utile…)

This is a lovely place to stay in the heart of Carmel by the Sea in California. It is within walking distance of many wonderful restaurants, shops and galleries. The place is clean and the staff is extremely efficient and friendly.

Location is great but staff is bad. Front desk lady was new and clueless and even told me it was her second day so you know how that goes. We get there around eight and we walk in at the same time as a customer and she couldn’t figures something out and had to call higher up and we were waiting for 20 minutes. Then I tell her I paid and book for hotel and she couldn’t explain to me why she needed my card, what she’s charging, and I told and showed her I paid online. I was getting frustrated and she had to call higher up again! Get into the room and there was nats, flies, and blood stains on 2 towels. We turned them in and asked for new ones the same night and we found a little one on another! Next day she told me “ we had a meeting and it wasn’t us, it was you guys. ask your partner.” That made me so upset and I wished I took pictures but their white towels and why would we turn them in if we caused it and we just go there, doesn’t make sense. First and last time at a best western.

Clean, comfortable , lovely service, good location

Windows facing the passage, no privacy, no view, half-transparent or one-way transparent blinds would be helpful. Poor WiFi coverage!!!
