Huge private terrace with stunning views. Taormina itself is a special place.

Access was difficult. By car from Taormina there were very steep narrow sections with blind corners. The alternative route via Petralia as shown on Booking.com and Google Maps is virtually impossible. The walk from Taormina has very steep sections and stairs at the end. We had a problem with the power going off (Italy!) and had trouble contacting the manager and getting useful information. After 5 hours in the cold and dark, we worked it out with the help of a neighbour. Some basic amenities (chopping board, tea towels, dishwashing and laundry powders) are not provided. The beds were very hard. There were a number of other maintenance issues which we have passed on to the manager.

The view is absolutely breathtaking and the appartement quite spacious.

I would suggest to do some maintenance on the shower. The drain does not function properly, water drains away very slowly, and the showerhead looks a little outdated.

Misleading location. This was a far walk away and not at the Fontana Vecchia B&B location. Uphill and far away.
