Budget Inn La Fonda Motel

The hotel room looks good, and smell clean. It was practical to have the car near the door. Overall it was ok.

Older hotel, needs work. But the staff is always pleasant. I imagine it’s difficult to balance paying for repairs and putting a kid through college. I’m not the picky type of person, so the older place diesntbither me.

Nice place. Old but pretty well kept. Just a few little things like a loose power socket but nothing major.

I kind of had to book this hotel on my way to it, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. The staff was very friendly and check in was painless. The rooms were extremely old, though. On one hand, it was kind of a quaint oldness, like staying at grandma’s house. On the other hand, the heater was in the main room and didn’t do anything for the bathroom area with it’s cold, tile floors. The tiles were also pretty cold, and some of them were broken and sticking up at odd angles. This made it impossible to close the bathroom door unless you stood just right on a tile. But it wasn’t awful. It was a nice cozy place to stay for one night on the way home. Like I said, it’s on or with spending the night at your grandma’s old fashioned and very old house. Cute, with cozy beds. The beds were big and soft.

I would recommend this hotel. The bed/sheets/pillows were great.

Desk clerk was very helpful. Room nice and very well equipped and comfortable. One problem. It needs dusting.

The pillows were terrible. Flat even with two ,you couldn't make one good one. The ice machine didn't work, so no ice for pop. If you could wait the refrigerator did work. Nice kitchen area, nice shower size but the head was clogged so not much water stream but wet. Sofa was way to old to be used. You sank to the floor, needs replacement badly. Very clean and some extras like Kleenex, ironing board and iron, nice closet beds were good. Not a bad place just in need of some updates.

Heater was very noisy. Went off and on constantly so turned it off. We then were freezing so turned back on. Did not get much sleep.

It was comfortable
